Scruton Allotments Potato Challenge 2024

Following on from last year's successful competition, the annual Potato Challenge is back. See who can grow the biggest weight of potatoes from one tuber grown in a bag. It’s free to enter, just pick up your potato and bag and have a go. The Sarpo Mira main crop seed potatoes have been sourced from Braithwaites Nursery: braithwaites.co.uk.

We will have the grand weigh-in and BBQ later in the year when there will be prizes for under 16s and over 16s.

Collect your bag and potato now from the communal shed, or outside East Grange House, Scruton (available from Monday 11th March).
