Allotment Plots Available

We have one plot which may become available shortly. A plot is 1 x 5 poles (approx 5 x 25m) and the annual rent is currently £50 p.a. If you are interested please click on the button below.

Scruton Allotments Association was set up in 2007 to establish an allotment plot for village residents.

The aim of the association is to provide affordable plots so tenants can grow their own produce, and also through social events, competitions and educational events, encourage and help people to grown their own produce.

Greenhouse on offer

Janet Crampton who lives in Scruton has a greenhouse she would like rid of. It’s a standard 8 ft x 12 ft, aluminium and glass and it’s all intact.

Bird Flu Restrictions Lifted

I know it doesn’t affect plot holders that much, but the bird flu restrictions relating the outbreak at Newby Wiske and covering the allotments has now been lifted.
