SUMMARY:Chris Snell Potato Challenge 2022
DESCRIPTION:Scruton Allotments Association annual BBQ. Association members and villagers are all welcome to attend with the highlight being the weigh-in of the potato bags. The event will take place in and around the Village Hall and Playing Fields, and will start at 2pm. There will be a BBQ (with GF & Vegan options) and a bar, and a raffle of gardening-related and other prizes will take place during the afternoon. We will also be running a stall stocked with produce and preserves grown and produced by allotment holders and available for sale.\nThe committee will be setting up the day from 10am and potato bags for the competition can be dropped off anytime from 12pm. Please ensure your bag is labelled with you name and contact details so that we can let you know the results afterwards if you’re a winner. There will be an adult prizes of £15 for the greatest total weight of potatoes from one bag, £10 for second prize, and a prize of £5 for under 16s.\n
