Sell your surplus at Spring House Farm Shop

I've been up to the Farm Shop recently and seen Neil and Judith who have agreed a deal to take any surplus stock from allotment holders on a 50/50 basis.

They will keep a simple account book showing produce delivered and will mark any sales. Any resulting income to be paid to SAA on a monthly basis for distribution. We can see how this works and modify it if necessary.

They are keen to get hold of guenuine local produce and took some lettuce, radish and potatoes from me at the time. I left some potatoes which sold well - sadly salad not so popular with the current weather. They have set up a Scruton Allotments section and I said I would publicise in August's parish newsletter.

Broad beans are a particular favourite right now so if you've go too many they'd be well received at the shop.
